It's a little strange that all the doctor tests came back negative, but that sounds like a miscarriage. An ectopic pregnancy would just give you a lot of pain, and maybe a bit of bleeding. But as long as you stop bleeding eventually, you should be fine. If you're worried, call your ob-gyn and ask.
