I have trouble sleeping...?
You're 13 and anxious. You have an aversion to the dark I suspect and also have a very active imagination. Try to concentrate on your breathing instead. Lay down and breathe in as far as you can slowly. Hold for 3 seconds and then slowly let it out. Breathe in for 4 and hold for 3 and out for 3. Once you have mastered this, use it whenever you feel yourself getting nervous. You need to keep your list and deal with the items on it one at a time. You cannot do them all at once.
