Is their a ghost in my room at all?

I woke up in the morning being awoken by a screaming child outside, i heard a click in my room and i turned round and my lamp was on and you need to click it for it to turn on, i didn't feel anyone was there, but i've always beleived in ghosts because i saw my nan when i was younger, what can it be? a ghost?
